Bonding & evolution

Bonding a cat from the same evolution line grants 1 evolution XP. A shop bond costs Cat Treats; bonding two cats already on the field consumes the source cat without an extra Treat cost.

Enough bonds evolve the cat from Lv1 to Lv2 and then Lv3, with new art, stronger numbers, and improved skill effects.

Every cat line has three stages, so a familiar starter can become something dramatically different later in the run.

A new cat may cover a weakness in your formation. A duplicate may push a trusted cat closer to evolution. Cat Treats are limited, so most runs force you to choose between variety and concentrated power.
